We know you are all aware of the unprecedented winter weather conditions we are experiencing right now in Texas. Our facilities are faced with many of the same concerns as others in Texas – rolling power outages, freezing pipes and delayed vendor deliveries. We wanted to let you know the actions we are taking at Lakeshore to protect our residents. We have had some of our pipes freeze and burst and delayed vendor deliveries.

As I am sure many of you are aware, Texas is experiencing an increase in the reported COVID cases. We currently have no residents that are showing signs or symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19. However, we have recently learned that two of our employees have tested positive for the virus.
Our region is again experiencing an increase in reported COVID cases. We have just learned that one of our residents has tested positive for COVID-19. Currently the positive resident is displaying only mild symptoms remains isolated in the Community.
In accordance with the recent guidance provided by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, we are limiting all visitation until further notice.
